People with disabilities are invited to complete the form dedicated to disabled reception. It allows the teams to best prepare your arrival and support at the festival.

For individuals

For accompanying persons, on presentation of a disability card stating "need for accompaniment", or a medical certificate where applicable. If you are in this situation, please indicate it on the Handi-accueil form. he number of accompanying persons is limited to one per user.

For companies

For organizations wishing to bring a group, please contact us by e-mail at handi-accueil@nicejazzfest.fr. Your request will be studied, and a ticketing link will be sent to you by e-mail.

By car - minute drop-off

As parking near the site is often difficult, a drop-off point is reserved for people with disabilities. It is located on the Promenade des Anglais in front of the carousel. The Handi-accueil team will welcome you upon your arrival.

For drivers with the CMI card, places reserved for PRMs for the Nice Jazz Fest exist on the Promenade des Anglais opposite the bandstand.

Info point handi-reception

When you arrive at the Nice Jazz Fest, you must go to the disabled information point to access the reserved areas. If you have not completed the Handi-accueil form beforehand, a disability card or medical certificate will be requested. At the info point, you will find:

    • 4 vibrating vests are available for the deaf and hearing-impaired (go to the section on vibrating vests)
    • Earplugs at the prevention stand
    • Wheelchairs: The Reserves will be on hand to support the emergency teams in assisting people who are frail or have difficulty moving around. Chairs and armchairs are available to accompany them to the areas reserved for people with disabilities.

Spaces are reserved for people with disabilities on both stages of the Nice Jazz Fest. To access these areas, you need to go to the Point Handi-accueil, where the Handi-accueil team will take care of seating (subject to availability).

PMR locations, located at the top of the stands of the Théâtre de Verdure. They benefit from excellent visibility. Access is reserved primarily for people in wheelchairs and their companions if the gauge allows it.

A reserved PMR platform on the side of the Masséna stage is reserved primarily for wheelchair users, accompanying persons will be placed next to them while standing.

Food places and bars

All restaurant areas and bars have lowered counters, suitable for people with reduced mobility. Each space also benefits from a priority line. Feel free to use them ! The reception team is available to help people with disabilities get around the site, as traffic can be difficult depending on the number of visitors.

Adapted toilets

Wheelchair accessible toilets are provided :

  • At the Théâtre de Verdure
  • At the back of the stage on Masséna
  • In the dining area

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are accepted. It is necessary to indicate this in the disabled-welcome form.

Informations

A transmitter connected to the concert's sound system transmits frequencies via the waistcoat's receiver, amplifying the visual experience through a physical experience.

4 vibrating waistcoats are available free of charge on reservation, so you can fully experience the concerts, offered on the Place Masséna.

Access conditions

Reservations must be made by e-mailing the form to handi-accueil@nicejazzfest.fr, no later than 4pm on the day of the chosen concert.

  • Free entry to the festival for the person benefiting from the scheme. Accompanying persons must pay for their own ticket.
  • Pick up your ticket at the festival box office, Place Masséna, on the day of the concert.
  • The form and proof of identity will be required in exchange for the concert ticket.
  • Withdrawal of the waistcoat from the CSR area in the festival grounds.
  • ID will be required in exchange for the waistcoat, which must be returned on the evening of the event.

A sign language interpreter will be on hand to provide translation into French sign language (LSF) at the disabled public welcome stand from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Signes

The waistcoats cannot be used by pregnant women or people with pacemakers.
