Biography
For the second part of this evening dedicated to the unmissable collective of the moment, make way for a side-project of Snarky Puppy’s leader and organist: Cory Henry. Organist, singer, pianist, composer, raised on gospel in the churches of Brooklyn, arranger… Still under 30, Cory Henry has already worked with the biggest names in jazz and soul, such as Kenny Garrett, Lalah Hathaway and The Roots.
Along with his Funk Apostles, Cory Henry revisits the classics of soul and funk with a wild energy. The shades of Jimmy Smith, Marvin Gaye and Prince will be hovering and your invitation to dance and commune has been issued!
