The Nice Jazz Festival has already hosted him at the memorable concert of the double bassist Omer Avital in 2013. Pupil of Max Roach, Member of the bands of Lionel Loueke, Sting, Dianne Reeves or Angelique Kidjo, the drummer Daniel Freedman takes each musical experience as a new voyage. At the head of his own quintet, he continues his rhythmic journey with a multi-coloured album, his first as leader. The programme includes a tour of the world from New York to Cotonou via Rio and Tel Aviv… Imagine That, the find of 2016, a project which surpasses delight! Where do we sign?
