Traditionally, the Théâtre de Verdure stage opens on the last evening with the outright winner of the Nice Jazz Festival Battle of the Bands, 2015. So, up with the biggest names in contemporary jazz, we have Spirale Trio! They will perform for us a melodic and current jazz, based on the compositions of their pianist, Laurent Rossi. The music is very sing-able and harmonious with a strong interplay between the three musicians, which recalls the big jazz piano trios like those of Oscar Peterson and Charlie Hadden.
