Shai Maestro is undoubtedly one of the most influential pianists of his generation. After beginning his career alongside Avishai Cohen, he now has his own trio, while also being called upon to collaborate with some of today’s top musicians, from Ben Wendel to Wallace Roney to Ambrose Akinmusire. With his new album, Maestro continues to explore the art of the trio, guided by his ongoing research into sound and total harmony.
