Biography
Since releasing his album "Into the Silence" on the ECM label in 2016, the Israeli trumpeter based in New York has been considered one of the best musicians on the contemporary jazz scene. At the Nice Jazz Festival, he is presenting his New York-born Big Vicious project, somewhere between groove, rock and psych. A great band-leader, he has brought together two drummers and two guitarists for this project, creating space for a new sonic dynamism.
