A fixture of the French jazz scene, pianist Baptiste Trotignon has worked on many projects with artists of the stature of Mark Turner, Melody Gardot and Miossec. This year he is presenting "Ancestral Memories", a project emerging from his encounter with the saxophonist Yosvani Terry. A sonic journey through the musical traditions of Haiti, Cuba, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Réunion, searching for the most original sounds in the most contemporary form of jazz!
