Biography
The cream of contemporary jazz pays tribute to pianist Les McCann, who pioneered soul jazz in the 1960s, a genre he personified in West Coast clubs and on the Pacific Records label. He continues to influence the best pianists, such as Eric Legnini, who explores his repertoire for us accompanied by his all-star quintet.
