Tribute to Nat King Cole

Who better than Gregory Porter, one of the most charismatic singers in contemporary jazz, to be the patron of this 70^th Nice Jazz Festival? As well as a magical presence, he combines the clarity of the greatest jazz voices with the power of gospel, as heard this year on his new album "Nat King Cole & Me", a personal homage to the legendary crooner. On "Smile", "L-O-V-E" and "Nature Boy", Porter gracefully reclaims the music of his childhood and retraces the origins of his passion for jazz. At this special concert, he will be accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique of the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur.
