Parcels has always been an extremely contrasting group: young guys from Byron Bay, the Mecca of Australian surfing, who’ve holed up in Berlin's ominous nocturnal utopia for several years. Five guys straight out of a California postcard from the 70s, they’ve found a unique sound, an unstoppable style that led them to a total of 200,000 albums sold worldwide, world tours, concerts with Phoenix and Air, another at Coachella and a first single produced by Daft Punk. They returned with an ambitious 2nd album, titled Day|Night, a double album which is no small feat with no less than 19 songs and a lot of introspection.
