Nice Jazz Festival 2023
Concert is over
Adi Oasis, the Franco-Caribbean singer, bassist and producer (now based in Brooklyn), offers up a funk, soul and R'n'B universe, all embellished with a pinch of her creole roots. She recently released a new album, Lotus Glow.
This first work under the name of Adi Oasis, includes an eclectic range of guests, including KIRBY, Leven Kali, Jamila Woods and Aaron Taylor. On Lotus Glow, the artist combines her masterful production, vocal talents and spectacular bass prowess to create her most personal work to date – and also her most political. For Adi, political themes are inevitable. "Thematically, my new album is fearless, yet vulnerable, and also more political, because I'm a black female immigrant and these are my truths". After touring the world with Lee Fields, JUNGLE, Anderson Paak, Chromeo or Chet Faker, it is in Nice that she will present this new album – a "masterpiece" according to Radio France, a "creative tour de force" for Radio Nova and "mesmerising" for Hype Soul …
