Nice Jazz Festival 2023
Concert is over
To celebrate the release of their first album, Legacy, Emile Londonien are hitting the stages of the Nice Jazz Festival.
Created from the Strasbourg Omezis collective, the trio is one of the representatives of the new jazz scene that continues to break with tradition. Children of live music and club culture, their concerts offer up an immersive experience somewhere between jazz, broken beat and house music.
Praised by many festivals such as World Wide Festival, Jazz à Vienne, Montreux Jazz Festival, Lefto or Gilles Peterson himself, who said of them: "I saw these guys recently live. They are a sort of celebration of the last 10–15 years of the UK Jazz Scene [...] It’s a crossroads place".
Emile Londonien proclaims a vision of jazz in perpetual transformation, at the heart of a thriving generation with whom they regularly collaborate (DJs, singers, musicians and rappers).
Nils Boyny: keyboards
Matthieu Drago: drums
Théo Tritsch: bass guitar
