This is the story of a group of young prodigies who proudly carry music as their banner and soul in the heart. At just 18 years of age, Emilio Castillo, already a talented saxophonist, formed a band with his great friend Stephen "Doc" ⁠Kupka. They were very quickly joined by others, including the string-breaker Francis "Rocco" Prestia on bass.

This millimetric adventure, between vibrant soul and dancing funk, has already spanned more than 50 years. It goes without saying that this formation of a dozen musicians, depending on the era, has been able to set stages on fire. The brass section was a resounding success and quickly built up a reputation that reached far beyond its borders. Santana, Elton John, Ray Charles, Eddy Mitchell or even the rockers of Aerosmith have all recognised the ingenuity of these masters of the wind, collaborating with them for an album or track. As for Prestia, who has accompanied the band for most of its epic story, his powerful slap can bring the dead to life as his dead notes quite simply make funk lethal. An intense and energetic mixture that awakens crowds and shakes souls. With their latest album, Step Up, the group once against demonstrates their capacity for innovation, producing an urban soul music this time, that never departs from the strong emotions of its roots.
