Nice Jazz Fest 2025
Concert is over
John Scofield was first discovered in the late 70s, working with Charles Mingus, Chet Baker and, of course, Miles Davis, whom he joined in 1983. Over the years, he has established himself as one of the leading jazz guitarists of the last 50 years. Fusion, funk, blues, rock and even country, all influences are good to take for the guitarist whose immense discography has been rewarded several times at the Grammy Awards.
After signing three albums for the ECM label, the prolific ‘Sco’ is back on stage this summer with a new group called the ‘Long Days Quartet’, with which he plans to unveil new compositions co-written with organist John Medeski and revisit some classics with a funk approach.
