Mustard, born Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, is an American producer, DJ, and songwriter who made his mark in the music industry in the early 2010s with his distinctive style, ratchet music—a minimalistic yet hard-hitting sound influenced by West Coast hip-hop.

He has collaborated with major artists such as YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Chris Brown, and Rihanna. His productions are instantly recognizable thanks to his signature tag, "Mustard on the beat, ho!", first heard on YG’s I’m Good and now a staple at the start of every Mustard-produced track.

Beyond his success as a producer, Mustard has released several albums, including the acclaimed 10 Summers (2014), further cementing his influence in urban music. His unique sound has made his music unmistakable and his name synonymous with some of the biggest hits of the last decade. In 2024, he produced Kendrick Lamar's songs ‘Not Like Us’ and ‘tv off’.
